These are very aggressive tires which perform really well on true off-road terrain such as wet grass, tree bark, twigs & mud. They are also great for jagged rocks where there is lots of opportunity for the large tread lugs to hook onto the rock.
The Rock Creeper tire does not perform exceptionally well in loose terrain such as sand, or snow, where the large lugs can quickly dig holes, and the spacing in between tire tread can easily become packed full of whatever you are driving in leading to potential loss of effective traction.
These tires are under 4" diameter so if you are looking for an increased tire height beyond the stock TF2 or Gelande tires, these are about the same height as what you already have, but will instead provide a wider tread patch & greater traction in many driving situations.
The rubber on these tires is sturdy with thick sidewall, and treads feel durable. These not as soft as some and stretchy as many tires, but this helps provide a stronger off-road tire, and is also great for heavier vehicles such as Defender.
I would recommend these most if you plan on using your vehicle for true off-the-trail adventures & challenging terrain - just not sand.
