When we found out that the ADV Hulk was happening back in early 2019, we knew that a 1/10th scale counterpart was a no-brainer.
Check out the journey that the Mini ADV Hulk took on it's way to the Four Wheeler Adventure Expo with KC Hilites!
Both the “Mini ADV Hulk” and the 1:1 build were created to commemorate the 50 years of KC Hilites helping the world Adventure Further.
Such a custom build would require the skills of a master of the craft, which is exactly what Scott from Scott’s Styrene RC Builds
is. Back in September, 2019 Tom Allen, VP of RC4WD, reached out to Scott with a goal and a deadline.
Scott more than delivered as you can see from the photos below:
The details are what make this build stand out. From the matched paint job to the custom PRP seats and the fully lit dashboard to the modified Walker Evans 501 Legend 1.7" Beadlock Wheels, it's easy to see how Scott spent over 135 hours bringing this 1/10 Adventure Hulk to life.
This all came together thanks in great part to the help of the Marketing Manager, Randy W. at KC HiLites, who helped us orchestrate the idea of surprising the company president, Alan W., with the one of a kind build. As you can see, the reaction was priceless:
