Hosted by Team Driver Tomas Slansky
The spirit of scale realism and community came alive in the Czech Republic as Team Driver Tomas Slansky hosted a memorable RC4WD Go Scale Day event. Designed as both a relaxed trail drive and a showcase of craftsmanship, the gathering brought together enthusiasts, builders, and curious newcomers for a day centered around the artistry of scale RC vehicles.

The event took place at a newly emerging RC expedition track, setting the perfect stage for an immersive off-road experience. With terrain designed for realism—featuring natural obstacles, varied elevations, and technical sections—the location highlighted exactly what scale RC driving is all about: precision, patience, and authenticity.
Participants had the chance to explore the course at their own pace, navigating trails that mirrored real-world expeditions. The setting wasn’t just a driving venue—it was a proving ground for creativity and engineering.

With around 20 attendees, the event struck a perfect balance between intimate and engaging. The turnout allowed for meaningful conversations, shared learning, and a welcoming atmosphere for those new to the hobby.
A key focus of the day was supporting local builders. Attendees proudly displayed their custom rigs, each one telling a story through detailed modifications, paintwork, and performance upgrades. From rugged overlanders to meticulously weathered crawlers, the craftsmanship on display reflected the depth of passion within the community.

As an official Team Driver, Tomas also took the opportunity to present his collection of RC4WD vehicles. These builds served as both inspiration and conversation starters, giving newcomers a firsthand look at what’s possible within the scale RC world.
For many visitors, this was their introduction to high-quality scale rigs—sparking curiosity and, for some, the beginning of a new hobby.

What made this Go Scale Day stand out wasn’t just the driving or the vehicles—it was the sense of community and shared enthusiasm. Events like this play a crucial role in growing the hobby, especially at a local level where new tracks and new builders are emerging.
By creating a space where experienced hobbyists and newcomers could connect, Tomas helped strengthen the foundation of the RC scene in the region.
As the Czech RC scale community continues to grow, events like this set the tone for what’s to come: inclusive, creative, and rooted in a love for realism. With a promising new track and a passionate group of enthusiasts, the future of scale RC adventures in the region looks bright.

Whether you’re a seasoned crawler or just discovering the hobby, Go Scale Day proved one thing—it’s not just about the vehicles, it’s about the journey and the people who share it.
